PPS REDCap Tool

REDCap is a secure electronic data capture software platform developed by Vanderbilt University for building and managing online surveys and databases in support of research or surveillance studies and operations. The GAIHN-HAI PPS Project, in a collaboration between the U.S. CDC, APHL, and GAIHN-HAI facilities and implementing partners, established REDCap instances and created data collection forms to support GAIHN-HAI point prevalence surveys.

Data security

REDCap is a secure data collection web platform available for installation in a variety of environments. The security and network environment in which your REDCap instance is installed and the data security teams operations determine the compliance with data security standards. It can be deployed in an environment for compliance with United States standards such as HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, FISMA (low, moderate, high), and international standards to ensure a secure environment, user access control and data privacy.
